SAMMY JO IS THE ANSWER

In 1997, DJ Sammy Jo took his first steps into a DJ booth at the legendary New York City nightclub "MOTHER" for his first ever nightlife venture. Expanding his playlist to include current dance music, Sammy Jo eventually met and collaborated with Jake Shears of the soon-to-be-formed SCISSOR SISTERS. The union worked so well, he was soon recruited as their official Tour DJ!

Since then Sammy Jo has been playing clubs throughout Europe on his own - creating a name for himself while also supporting the Scissor Sisters whenever they call on him. His solo ventures have brought him an abundance of good cred, especially amongst the mushrooming NY club kids scene, enabling him to share club nights with the likes of Fischerspooner, Princess Superstar, Junior Sanchez and Ron Carrol just to name a few. Drawing from all warps of the party sound, Sammy Jo flirts with the boundaries wherever he can and is most known for his criss-crossing between electro house and dark, danced-up disco.
